On April 2nd, 2026, our partners from KOC University with the support of Brussels-based EQUICARES consortium partners (WR, EASPD, EHTEL, and DIESIS), organised a dedicated hackathon in Brussels.

On March 20th, 2026, the EU-funded projects EQUICARES, 2D-BioPAD and COMFORTage came together to host a joint workshop focused on fostering collaboration and exploring synergies in brain and mental health innovation, equity and impact.

Our spanish partner, FISEVI has held several meetings with different local organisations to explore potential collaborations within the framework of the European project EQUICARES.

On Wednesday, 18 February, the EQUICARES project organised the online launch of its Network of Interest (NoI) through a 90-minute webinar.

In October 2025, EQUICARES partner Jigsaw delivered a targeted training programme for cultural mediators and research teams, building capacity for ethical, inclusive, and culturally sensitive data collection across EQICARES’ pilot sites.

As part of The European Researchers’ Night held in Seville, EQUICARES actively participated at the event “The Maze of Mental Health Access”.

EQUICARES has released a comprehensive report conducted by our partner ZI, on the prevalence of mental health conditions and the barriers and facilitators to accessing mental healthcare among people in vulnerable situations.

On October 9th, the EQUICARES project actively participated in the final capacity-building workshop of the LISTEN – Learning and Inclusion for Sustainable Community Engagement series, held in Thessaloniki.
