LGBT Ireland took the EQUICARES Smart Health Lab (SHL) straight to the crowds this year, setting up at both the Pride Square and the Pride Village during Dublin Pride Week, from 24 to 28 June.

LGBTI team presented the SHL to participants and shared information engaging with the public in person and further promoting the event through social media.

Hundreds of people passed by the LGBT Ireland stand over the course of Pride Week. Many visitors expressed interest in the project and were inspired enough to sign up for the upcoming co-creation workshop on the spot.

The event enhanced the visibility of EQUICARES among a broad public audience and helped establish strong initial engagement ahead of the SHL’s forthcoming initiatives in Dublin.
