The 3rd EQUICARES Project Meeting was held on December 9th and 10th 2025 in Athens hosted by our partner GIVMED.
In October 2025, EQUICARES partner Jigsaw delivered a targeted training programme for cultural mediators and research teams, building capacity for ethical, inclusive, and culturally sensitive data collection across EQICARES’ pilot sites.
As part of The European Researchers’ Night held in Seville, EQUICARES actively participated at the event “The Maze of Mental Health Access”.
EQUICARES has released a comprehensive report conducted by our partner ZI, on the prevalence of mental health conditions and the barriers and facilitators to accessing mental healthcare among people in vulnerable situations.
On October 9th, the EQUICARES project actively participated in the final capacity-building workshop of the LISTEN – Learning and Inclusion for Sustainable Community Engagement series, held in Thessaloniki.

We are proud to announce that Dr. Mira Fey from our partner organisation LGBT Ireland, represented our project at the Brain Innovation Days 2025, held in Brussels on October 15–16.
We are pleased to share the Draft Levesque Framework with Preliminary Findings on Barriers to Mental Healthcare Access in Europe, developed by our partner Koç University.
On Friday, September 12th, 2025, LGBT Ireland hosted an online information event within the framework of the EQUICARES project.
